What the product is

A web application and installable progressive web app for running a service business: customers, jobs, scheduling, technicians and timesheets, quotes and GST invoices with online payment of quotes and invoice balances, recurring jobs, field evidence, suppliers, materials, purchase orders and receiving, job costing, profitability and reporting. An AI assistant works from that same operational record and prepares sensitive actions for the owner’s confirmation.

How it is run

• ServiceCrown remains the source of truth for a business’s records; integrations are described by what they can actually do.
• Every AI action is recorded, and sensitive actions pause for confirmation before they run.
• Website AI is coming soon. It is not yet generally available and is not enabled by starting a trial or buying a plan.
• New accounts receive 15 days of Business plan access. No card required. Separately gated features are not included in general trial access.

Integrations

• Jobber: Read-only. ServiceCrown reads supported Jobber data so the AI Assistant can answer about it. ServiceCrown does not create or change Jobber records.
• Xero: Manual, one-way. ServiceCrown invoices can be sent to Xero as drafts. ServiceCrown remains the source of truth for its records.
• Stripe: Subscription billing for paid plans, and — once a business connects its own Stripe account — online payment of quotes and invoices by its customers, through Stripe Checkout. The trial is granted by ServiceCrown at registration, before any payment provider is involved.

Payments and payroll: what ServiceCrown does

• Accepting a quote never requires payment. Businesses can request no upfront payment, full payment upfront, or a fixed or percentage deposit, payable online after acceptance.
• Customers can pay the remaining invoice balance online. Prior quote payments are credited against the invoice.
• Bank transfer and cash payments are recorded manually. Automatic bank reconciliation is not available.
• A quote asks for at most one upfront payment. Instalment plans and partial refunds are not available.
• Timesheets export approved hours as a CSV for a separate payroll process. ServiceCrown does not calculate wages, PAYE, KiwiSaver, deductions or payslips, and does not run payroll.
