Field service management software for New Zealand service and trade businesses

ServiceCrown runs the whole field-service loop — customer, job, schedule and technician, quote and work, invoice, and the history that builds up behind it — for businesses that send people to customers’ sites. GST-aware invoicing, NZ-dollar pricing and Xero draft export are part of the product, and an AI assistant works from the same record.

The workflow, step by step

Field service management is the same loop for every trade: a customer, a job, a person and a time, the work, and the invoice. ServiceCrown keeps those on one record so each step reads what the previous one wrote.

  1. CustomerContact details, site notes and every past job on one customer record, so the second call is easier than the first.
  2. JobEach request becomes a job with a type, priority, notes and a status that moves from new through scheduled, dispatched, in progress and completed to invoiced.
  3. Scheduling and technicianGive the job a time and a technician. The office sees the team’s day with unassigned work visible; the technician sees the job in their own portal on their phone.
  4. Quote and workQuote first when the job needs it. Once sent, the customer can accept it online — accepting never requires payment — and, if you’ve asked for payment upfront and connected Stripe, pay it straight away. Convert the accepted quote into the job, then record time from the technician’s timer and materials and other costs as the work happens.
  5. InvoiceCreate the invoice from the completed job with GST at your configured rate, email the PDF, and let the customer pay the remaining balance online from the invoice link, or record a bank transfer or cash payment. Send it to Xero as a draft if you use Xero.
  6. Operational historyEvery job leaves its customer history, time, costs and invoice behind. On Pro and Business that becomes job costing, profitability and reporting.

What is specific to New Zealand

GST-aware invoicing

Your business settings record whether you are GST-registered, your GST number and your default rate (15% unless changed). Invoices apply GST from those settings.

Priced in NZ dollars

Starter NZ$39, Pro NZ$89 and Business NZ$149 per business per month, including GST, with no per-user fees — billed monthly through Stripe once you choose a plan.

Xero, the way NZ businesses use it

Send an invoice to Xero as a draft in one action. It is manual and one-way, so your accountant sees drafts in Xero and ServiceCrown stays the source of truth.

Operated here

ServiceCrown is operated by SERVICECROWN LIMITED in New Zealand, with support at support@servicecrown.co.nz.

Works on the tools

A web application and installable progressive web app: the office on a computer, technicians on their phones, with a timer, their jobs and job messaging.

Who it is built for

Businesses whose work is on the customer’s site rather than in a shop: plumbers, electricians, HVAC and heat pump technicians, builders, cleaners, gasfitters, painters, landscapers and other trade and service businesses. There are pages for plumbers, electricians, HVAC technicians, builders and cleaners; the industries page compares them, and the tradie page describes ServiceCrown for a sole trader or small crew.

AI assistance on your own data

The AI Assistant answers from your live jobs, schedule, customers, quotes and invoices, and can prepare scheduling, quoting and invoicing actions that wait for your confirmation. Every action it takes is recorded. Website AI, a customer-facing assistant for your own website, is not yet generally available. Starting a trial or buying a plan does not enable Website AI. How the AI works.

From completed work to job profitability

On Pro and Business, time, technician cost rates, materials and other direct costs sit against job revenue so the owner can review gross profit and margin. How job costing works in ServiceCrown.

Already on Jobber?

Connect Jobber and ServiceCrown reads supported data so the AI Assistant can answer about it. Jobber access is read-only: ServiceCrown does not create or change Jobber records. You can keep operating in Jobber and start with read-only insight.

Frequently asked questions

What is field service management software?

Software for businesses that send people to do work at a customer’s site rather than in a shop: tracking the customer, the job, who is doing it and when, the work itself, and the invoice, on one record instead of several separate tools.

Who is ServiceCrown designed for?

Service and trade businesses whose work happens on site: plumbers, electricians, HVAC and heat pump technicians, builders, cleaners, gasfitters, painters, landscapers and similar businesses.

Is ServiceCrown built for New Zealand businesses specifically?

Yes. Pricing is in New Zealand dollars including GST, invoices apply NZ GST at your configured rate, Xero draft export is built in, and ServiceCrown is operated by SERVICECROWN LIMITED in New Zealand.

Can I manage jobs, scheduling, quotes and invoices in one place?

Yes. A job moves from new through scheduled, dispatched, in progress and completed to invoiced, and quotes, scheduling and invoicing all read and write the same job record rather than separate systems.

Does ServiceCrown support recurring work?

Yes, on Pro and Business. A recurring job definition generates jobs on a schedule — a weekly service or a monthly visit — automatically, instead of each visit needing to be created by hand.

Does ServiceCrown integrate with Xero?

Yes, as a manual, one-way draft export: send an invoice to Xero as a draft with one action, whenever you choose. ServiceCrown stays the source of truth for the record itself.
