Cleaning is many short visits across many sites by a team that is rarely in one place. The office’s questions are constant and simple: who is at which site today, did the visit happen, how many hours did it take, and has it been invoiced. From the site record to the invoice

1. The customer and the siteA customer record holds the contact details, the site address and notes — access instructions and what the client cares about. Every visit is a job on that record, so the history of a site builds up.
2. Booking the visitsEach visit is a job with its own address, time, duration and cleaner. The schedule shows the day or the week per cleaner with unbooked jobs in their own lane, and jobs are dragged onto a person and a time. On Pro and Business, a weekly or monthly clean can be a recurring job, so each visit is generated automatically; on Starter, each visit is booked as its own job.
3. On the dayCleaners use their own portal on their phone: today’s jobs with the address and notes, a timer they start on arrival and stop when done, status updates, and messaging with the office about a job.
4. HoursTimer entries remain against the cleaner and job. Eligible completed entries can be copied into the separate payroll timesheet as drafts. The office adds or corrects entries, sees totals per cleaner and per job, approves each week’s hours, and exports approved hours as a payroll-ready CSV for its own payroll process.
5. InvoicingInvoice each completed visit from its job with GST at your configured rate; email the PDF; record the payment; send a reminder if it is late. Send invoices to Xero as drafts if you use Xero.

The team

Cleaners are invited by email and appear as technicians with their skills, working days and hours, and recorded time off. Scheduling keeps bookings inside your business hours and, for a chosen time, shows who is free — allowing for working days, time off and the jobs already booked. Quoting new work

A new contract or a one-off deep clean can start as a quote with line items. Sending it emails the customer a summary; when it is accepted it converts into a job in one action, and the quote’s pricing carries onto the job and its invoice. Quoting and invoicing.

Plans for a cleaning business

Every plan is one monthly price for the whole business, so you can add another cleaner without paying for another software seat. Starter (NZ$39 a month) covers up to 3 cleaners and 50 jobs a month — note that each visit is a job, so a busy roster moves to Pro (NZ$89, 10 cleaners, 200 jobs a month) or Business (NZ$149, no technician or job limit) sooner than a trade with fewer, longer jobs.
